The Million Tree Campaign

Everyone knows that we need more trees. Most people dont realise just how important they are, or how many amazing direct and indirect benefits come from them. They are possibly the most important mechanism on earth, and it is imperative that we all act together as quickly as possible. We need to plant more trees, and stop detroying existing forest, particluarly rainforests. They are home to thousands of species, cure for so many diseases with coinsiderable long term implications. (Link to Benefits of Trees)

Environmental awareness is spreading quickly. This is now a fast growing industry and economy – worldwide. Join the environmental revolution today, and be apart of it.

Allow yourself to say, ‘I did!’

We grow more trees than necessary in the nurseries to ensure that at least the number sponsored survive. Tree types are chosen and managed to help provide the maximum benefits to the local communities. This includes direct and indirect benefits to the environment as well as through the development of a sustainable supply of natural resources. When done correctly, all these benefits can work in harmony and compliment each other. You can read more about benefits of trees and our projects etc on our sister site www.sponsortrees.com

The trees are grown in nurseries across developing communities in Africa, and care is taken to ensure they provide social, economic and environmental benefits to those who need them most. A range of tree types are planted, encouraging eco-system balance, and this bio-diversity creates natural sustainability. They provide homes for wildlife and many much needed natural resources. Plant trees as a gift now!

Africa is the continent which has suffered the most from deforestation and climate change leaving deprivation and desperation. Streams and rivers are drying up, the rain seasons are shortening and the population is struggling to eat and drink. The communities need these trees and, appreciate your support.
