Million Tree Campaign is a brand of Environmental Partnerships Ltd.
Environmental Partnerships Ltd (EPL) was born in 2005 to help implement environmental policy to business and pushes the philosophy of the 3 R’s:
1. Reduce
2. Re-use
3. Recycle
- Projects are based on the needs of the local communities
- Projects must provide benefits that are sustainable and not temporary
- The projects must not require the community to spend any of their own money. Instead, they are contributing only a small proportion of their land, if they wish to
- The project structure should address the needs of local families as well as bring important benefits to the larger environmental community (e.g. reducing the threat of flooding)
- The program does not look upon planting the trees as an end unto itself. Instead it should be considered the beginning of a continuing process of restoring the land and replenishing the natural resources

EPL are not tied to any organisation, and varying factors include; Climate variations and extreme conditions, political stability, disease and infections, survival rates/ efficiency/ availability, demand and benefits, Investment from elsewhere
The Million Tree Campaign wants to make it easy and affordable for both businesses and individuals to plant trees. Acknowledging that trees do far more good in developing countries and that there are both businesses and individuals who want to help the environment, the Million Tree Campaign was born for the start of 2009. Through relationships with tree planting organisations around the world, the million tree campaign hopes to encourage trees to be planted by businesses and individuals, on behalf of customers or as gifts. The Million Tree Campaign’s vision revolves around a large number of us, caring for and acting on our desire and ability to help our environment. 
As gifts they are thoughtful, meaningful, beneficial and lasting. For businesses they may soon be compulsory and, until they are, they are appreciated and rewarded by other businesses and consumers.
